We Start With the Goal, Not the Shot List

Video That Earns Back Its Budget

We don’t believe in ordinary production, but craft visual experiences designed to grab attention and drive measurable results.

Our videographers in San Diego begin every project with a clear map of your business goals. We then transform those objectives into powerful visual stories that are beautifully executed, technically flawless, and directly focused on your ROI.

Whether you’re looking for event video coverage, high-impact commercial video production, or polished corporate video content, our team is ready to deliver results-driven production experience.

Video Production Services in San Diego

Our Focus is Always on Your Brand

We make sure every concept grows directly out of the product.

Results Our Clients Can Measure

One Campaign, One Billion Impressions, One Small Team

SuperMouth’s campaign passed one billion impressions. GreenFat’s videos drove $1.5 million in revenue. SolarGard saw a 26% lift in revenue, and MedSpeed used our films to launch its electric-vehicle initiative. Four clients, four completely different objectives, and one production team behind all of them. That is what strategy-led production looks like in practice, and it is why clients keep coming back instead of shopping the next project around. Press play and see how our San Diego video production services turn a business goal into footage that earns its keep.

Meet the Founder

Why I Am Still in the Room

I am Richard Tiland. Two decades directing, producing and shooting, across healthcare, technology, consumer products and most things in between.

I stay on every project because the gap between a good video and an expensive one usually opens in the first conversation, not in the edit. That is a call I would rather make myself than delegate to someone learning on your budget.

What still drives me is watching an idea land and seeing it move the business it was built for.

Our Video Production Process

We offer full-service video production including:

Discovery & Positioning

We pin down the goal, the audience and the measure of success first.

Production

Crew, lighting, sound and direction, on location or at our own San Diego studio, with one producer running the day.

Post-Production

Editing, color grading, sound design and motion graphics, handled in San Diego. Two revision rounds are included, and rush delivery runs in as little as two weeks when the deadline demands it.

Delivery

We export and deliver final videos in platform-ready formats for web, social media, internal use, or live events. Multiple aspect ratios, social cuts, captions, and raw footage archiving, scoped to your project.

Marketing & Distribution

Cut, captioned and sized for every placement you are buying, so your media spend is not fighting the format.

Why Brands Switch to Us, and Why They Stay

Most of our clients come to us from somewhere else. The pattern is almost always the same: a fragmented team, a deadline that kept moving, and three layers of agency sitting between the brief and the person holding the camera.

We run it differently. One seasoned crew, one producer, one point of accountability. The people who scoped your project are the same people on set and the same people in the edit.

That structure does not change with the size of the job. A single product launch, a full corporate campaign, or an ongoing content partnership all get the same senior attention and the same clear communication. You are never handed off to a junior team once the contract is signed.

You get professional direction, proper lighting and sound, and polished editing, from someone who answers the phone when you call. Most questions get a response the same working day.

We shoot photography in San Diego as well, so a campaign that needs both does not need a second vendor or a second set of invoices, and the two crews already know how to work a shared day.

What Our Clients Say

Full Studio Capability

Commercials, corporate film, promotional and conference video, podcasts, testimonials and in-house sales content.

Award-Winning Work, Judged by Someone Other Than Us

Our work has been recognized with Telly Awards, AVA Digital Awards and MARCOM Awards. We mention them for one reason: they are judged by people with no stake in our business, which makes them a better signal than anything we could say about ourselves.

That recognition comes from commercial work, corporate film, product launches and event coverage across healthcare, technology and consumer brands. The same crew handles all of it, which is why the standard holds whether the budget runs to five figures or six.

We answer emails and calls within one working day. Not because that is remarkable, but because enough agencies do not that it has become a reason clients move to us. You will always know where your project stands and who is holding it.

If you are weighing up a few San Diego production companies, ask each of them two questions: who will actually be on set, and who do I call when something changes at short notice. The answers will tell you more than any showreel.

Tell Us What the Video Has to Do

Bring us the business goal and the deadline. We will tell you what it takes, what it will cost, and whether video is even the right answer for it.

Every story deserves to be seen, but the ones that work start from a clear objective rather than a format someone picked in advance.

We will help you find yours before you spend anything on production.

The Questions Buyers Ask Us Most

What to Ask Before You Hire Anyone

A production company owns the whole chain: strategy, scripting, casting, crew, shooting, editing, sound, motion graphics and delivery. The distinction that matters is accountability. When one company holds all of it, there is no gap between what was agreed in the brief and what lands in your inbox, and nobody to point at when a deadline slips.

San Diego production companies cover commercials for broadcast and social, product and explainer video, corporate and internal communications, customer testimonials, event and conference capture, animation and aerial work. We produce all of the above. The more useful question is not what a company can shoot, but whether they will tell you when video is the wrong tool for the objective you have just described.

Most projects run about 6 weeks from concept to final delivery. Standard editing takes around 5 weeks, and rush projects can be delivered in as little as 2 weeks. Every project includes two revision rounds.

It depends on scope. Simple videos start in the low thousands. Projects with multiple shoot days, on-camera talent, animation or heavy post run considerably higher. We price against the brief rather than a rate card, because the same ninety-second video can be a two-day job or a two-week one. Full package pricing is published on our video production pricing page.

Yes. We handle all post-production in-house: editing, color grading, sound design and motion graphics, with two revision rounds included.

We shoot on the same camera and audio packages used by major studios, and we scale the crew to the job, from a single videographer to a fifty-person unit. That covers multi-camera setups, drone work, podcast production and full studio shoots at our dk3studios facility. Crew size matters more than the gear list.

Yes. We provide aerial video and photography with licensed pilots.

Yes. We have worked with companies of every size, across healthcare, technology, consumer products and education, including Hyundai, Qualcomm, ESPN and Netflix. Scope changes, standard does not.

Yes. We produce animated explainer videos that turn a complex product into something a buyer understands.

A videographer is one person with a camera, usually working alone or with a small team on events and straightforward shoots. A production company carries specialists across strategy, direction, lighting, sound, editing and motion, and can run projects that need coordination rather than coverage. If your video has one job, hire a videographer. If it has to carry a campaign, you want the second.
