Drone Meets Video
It is astounding that a machine developed for war has become such a huge part in everyday life.
Yet we have reached a time where video consumption is up and people have realized the drones have filming capabilities. Not only that but you can find drones available for other uses as well. Have you seen that video online of people using a drone to film dramatic sequences at a wedding? The camera ends up flying into the couples face. It is funny, and I hope no one was hurt, yet it is a good example. If small drones with camera’s are being used at wedding imagine the possibilities for everyone.
Drone videos will become more and more visible with everything from family barbecues to savvy marketing adds.
They are versatile and if your pilot is better than the guy at that wedding, you can have a great video that is unique and compelling (or funny). A good stat to prove the point is that YouTube Data reported that drone videos were watched for 800k hours in 2014! That is a lot of video that obviously grabbed people’s attention. Do not be surprised if news sources begin using them more as well as movie makers, television production and others.
